  23. Do you mean by 'the latest software' the firmware in your modems? If
  24. so this could be a major source of your problems. I have >600 MT1432MR's
  25. and 300 soon to be 400 MT2834MR's on line. From day 1 AT&T and Rockwell
  26. chipsets have had problems with the way v.34 was implemented by each
  27. manufacturer.. Each firware upgrade I've done has made a noticeable 
  28. increase in reliable connections with all different types of modems 
  29. and chipsets. MultiTech tech support is very good and should help.
  30. If they don't have an answer ask them to escalate your problem to
  31. a 2nd level techie.
